At Square Mile Dental Centre, our comprehensive range of treatment options can help address any number of cosmetic issues. Porcelain veneers are an increasingly popular option to help treat and address cosmetic concerns with the smile such as small gaps between the teeth, chips, cracks and discoloured teeth. Designed to look as similar to natural teeth as possible, porcelain veneers are able to subtly enhance the smile in a completely natural, yet striking way.

We work with highly skilled and trustworthy dental laboratories to create these veneers, and thanks to the latest digital technology in-house, we’re able to design your new smile with minimal fuss and maximum impact. We’ll even make up a 3D printed trial set of veneers for you to try on and wear – so you’ll know for sure that this is the smile for you. Once you’re completely happy with your new smile, we’ll carry out the preparation on your front teeth, and your veneers will be made for you off-site. Once ready, we’ll fit them for you here at your next appointment and you’ll be able to walk out of the practice with a head-turning, Hollywood smile.

Are porcelain veneers permanent?: The application of veneers is irreversible and therefore permanent, although the veneers themselves do not last forever. Porcelain veneers are extremely durable however, and with proper care and dental hygiene, can last for up to 15 years.
What are porcelain veneers made of?: Theese veneers are made of an ultra-thin, practically translucent ceramic material that is able to accurately mimic the surface of the natural tooth.
What are some of the benefits of porcelain veneers?: Some of the major benefits of porcelain veneers are their durability and subtlety. They are extremely hard wearing and stain resistant – even more so than the natural tooth surface. We can also colour match veneers to a wide range of tooth colours, making sure we find the shade that suits your unique smile.
What are the follow up or aftercare procedures?: Receiving porcelain veneers doesn’t require much aftercare although we do recommend avoiding eating or drinking anything for an hour and a half post-treatment. It’s also important to remember that even though porcelain veneers can provide you with a brand-new smile, they (and the rest of your teeth) still require proper oral care and hygiene. This includes good at-home care as well as regular visits to us here at the practice.
