White Filling

Unsightly amalgam (silver) fillings can now be avoided by using composite bonding (tooth coloured filling material).
The techniques are employed with a world class level of skill and artistry, enabling posterior teeth to be restored back to a natural appearance that is imperceivable to the eye.
The level of care to create natural looking restorations is the same whether the teeth to be restored are at the front or the back of the mouth.
The case shown here, displays a tooth which had decay in its fissures (grooves) so the challenge was to restore the tooth back to a natural harmonious appearance with the composite filling. To read more regarding our services and success,

Implant
Missing teeth or failed teeth that need to be extracted can be quite traumatic for the patient.
The options available to replace missing teeth include:
a. an implant
b. bridge
c. denture
To create a natural tooth appearance with an implant is a very demanding process. An implant is a fixture (generally made from titanium) which is surgically placed in to the jaw bone. This can then act as a fixed root on to which a crown (tooth) can be placed. Implant restored teeth should seamlessly integrate with surrounding teeth or in cases where there are no teeth, to mimic the whole natural dentition.
This procedure may involve replacing lost structures inconjunction with the lost tooth/ teeth. This can quite often involve grafting either hard and soft tissues (bone and gum) or both. In this case the upper left front tooth was replaced with an implant and lost tissue required grafting.
